MEETING TO ORDER: President Chuck Tull called the meeting to order at 12:30 and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Tony Cubellis gave the invocation and prayed for success at Career Days.

VISITING ROTARIANS: Mat Rose, Bellingham Bay

GUESTS: Laurie Lloyd brought her best friend Rick (husband I assume)

RETURNING ROTARIANS: none spoke up

BIRTHDAYS: Adoline Brown, Rich Jacobson, Julie Johansen

ANNOUNCMENTS: A thank you note was read from Whatcom FFA/4H

Tyler Cook reminded us that the career days are next week and there are still two presenter spots to fill.

Monday evening we will have a collating party for the hand out materials. It will be held at WCC Cascade Bldg RM 101 at 6:00 PM. Pizza is planned.

Career Days is April 1, 2010. There will be no lunch meeting that day. Set up at Whatcom Community College is at 7:00 AM. We will have a board meeting at WCC at 7:30. Donuts and coffee provided.

Paul Cooley needs two drivers for the Group Study Exchange on May 12, 2010 from 8 AM to 12 PM. They will meet at the Barkley Haggens.

Tony Cubellis still wants your used cell phones

The Auction work is not done. Helpful ideas for next year to Dan or Dick.

Books are still needed for the Central Elementary program.

Brian Finnagan reported on the Auction success. There is an issue with the VISA card because they were run through 12th street Shoes. Some people do not recognize the charge on their account for your event. Please tell your friends who attended.

Heads up: Installation of Officers will be a Friday evening dinner meeting. No meeting June 24th

Gary Tomsic says the fourth quarter invoice for $150.00 will be arriving soon.

Scott Wallace says this was the last meeting of the month for attendance

President Chuck warned that the attendance policy needs to be enforced.

Ray George announced that we are the judges for the Black White Ribbon at the Youth Fair on April 9th &10th. Please contact Ray if you can help.

HAPPY BUCKS: Tim Carpenter was thankful to Tim & Patty for going through the grant process.

Bill Grace was happy to be back and sharing a cold

Paul Cooley paid because he missed Rotary when he made a trip to Florida and because it was nice to see Bill Grace again

Someone had a 41st anniversary. Sorry, I missed writing who.

Brian Finnegan gave to say thanks for the Auction success. .

Tim Villhauer was happy for 29 years of marriage to Pati.

Scott Wallace was happy that the auction was a make-up.

Chuck was happy for the Husky Dogs.

Sharon paid to say "go Orangemen".

Dan Baker had so "go Dogs" money

Rome Sarwas was "go Marquette"

Laurie Lloyd paid for "go Dogs"

Marlene Sexton paid for the Long Beach State "Poets"

Ray George was sad the mower started.

FINEMASTER: Jack Curnow started out getting President Chuck for mispronouncing Curnow..

Last in Lex was fined $2. The foundation committee was fined for two in a row. White shirts were fined $2. Scott Wallace was given the $5 Wallace fine. Everyone knowing where the Cascade Building at WCC was fined. Anyone attending a college with Ag classes was fined $2. Tyler was fined for his name tag.

Jason Gaylord's fast moving program was on Embracing the New Market Place. Jason is Chairman and Founder of "Local Loop". Jason explained the demographics of the changing market place and the shift from traditional communications to the explosion of the Internet.
