MEETING TO ORDER:  Chuck Tullcalled the meeting to order at 12:30 and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Pete Kremen gave the invocation.

BIRTHDAYS & ANNIVERSARIES:  Jack Curnow March 11th, Tony Cubelis March 15th, and Stan Brunner March 16th

ANNOUNCMENTS: (1) Keep bringing in unused cellphones, (2) Continue to need books for Central Elementary, (3) Career Day is April 1st - Need responses from those assigned to get presenters, (4) President Chuck read a thank you letter from the Pure Water for the World outfit, (5) President Chuck reminded members about attendance.

 

HAPPY BUCKS:   Chuck - $1 for Dan, Dick and the Fundraising committee for their diligence and very hard work; Bill Unrein - Apology for missing the recognition of the Club in the Herald article about the Ferndale B&G's Club project; President Chuck the presented Bill with a check for $10,700; Norm - $5 - congratulations to Ray on his nomination as Small Business of the Year, but not wanting to sit through the long program; Ray - $20 - sad dollars for being mentioned as giving funds when the recognition should have gone to the Club; Josh - sorry for ommission of recognition for the Club; Maureen - $2 - thanks to the fundraising committee; Marlene - for what she gained from the PETS conference; Scott W - $40 - $2 for the IPOD and songs he got, and $38 for his years in banking; Larry - congratulations for Sign Post being nominated Small Business of the Year; Tony Cubelis - for his birthday, Paul Cooley giving a cellphone; Jim Bliss - happy to see Bill Unrein, and something confusing about Bill and Jim's daughter back in the 60's; Tim Carpenter - Happy to have Larry and Becky in the Club and as owners of Print & Copy for all their contributions to the Club - very helpful; Pete Kremem - $20 happy, brought brownies for the auction, also apologized to the Club about the B&G Club publicity issue; Sharon R - checking on desserts for the auction

 

FINEMASTER:     Greg Thulin was today's finemater. Pete K - even though Pete got in late from DC, how could he mistake Jack C for Dick D; Marlene - something about no photos from the barbeque; Typer - for cutting hours as Haggen in Ferndale and some expired pepperoni; Winton - for something; Maureen - WTA being on the ballot; Rick Staeb - being tagged for having been in the media business for the phopas at the Oscars in not honoring the deaths of McMann, Farrah Fawcett and others; All Prius owners; $1 for those not helping on the auction; $1 for those not wearing jeans; $1 for those already having finished their tax returns.
