    • We can’t print tickets until we have enough sponsors to cover the prize costs.  Our new goal is $20,000 by the end of February.  Dale promised to go to all the Ferndale banks himself.

  • May 26, 2017 - Youth Service Awards
  • August 26, 2017 -  Duck Race
  • Thank you notes from WCC Scholarship recipient Kordel Clark, Pardata Pardidi, and Stop Hunger Now were circulated.
  • A personalized thank you video from the girls at Pardada Pardidi was also played.

Happy Bucks:   Dale gave $52 for his 52nd birthday, a good holiday and the continued health of his father and family in general.   He was happy to continue the family tradition of raising a glass to family members near and far.   Julie was $20 happy  - $18 for the 18th anniversary of her marriage to Bob, and $2 extra for the New Year.   Jim Sands was $20 happy just as long has he didn’t need to stand up.  Bill was good for $20 and he DID stand up.  He also was spreading some germs, however.  Ken was happy for the New Year and Happy Holidays.
Marlene was $50 happy - $35 for the 35th birthday of her youngest child, $5 to pay off an IOU, $5 for Rollo (Rollo?) and $5 for the Bahamas trip.   Rollo was happy for good holidays and for his daughter who wisely chose to do her internship in Maui instead of Fairbanks.    Greg was happy for the New Year.  Linda announced that she will be a Grandmother in May!  Nancy offered $20 in apology for the nasty icy conditions at Te’ti’Sen in December, and $5 in gratitude for not being in St. Paul where it is currently -1 degrees. Or is that -1 degree?   Tim gave a happy $5 as he was shocked that Marlene could possibly have a 35 yr. old child, for experiencing their grandson’s first Christmas with him, and for the Seahawks game.  He also was happy to explain that Jim Blaney managed to wrangle a ride out of him without him even knowing it.   Stan was happy to experience Christmas with his four-year old great-grandson.  Rick was happy to be leaving us for two months in Arizona.  Sharon was happy to see her grandkids and Christmas, and happy to see them go.  Also happy for her new puppy, Chance.
Finemaster:  Rollo!   No pin - $1.  Wearing a tie - $1. Dale  - $5 for missed meetings.  $4 rebated as he had to deal with bank auditors.  Jake  - $1 for the Jake Smith award.  Marlene  - $5 for going to the Bahamas without us.  $1 if your Christmas tree is still up.  $2 if you never put one up to start with.  If you’re planning a trip somewhere warm in the next month, $1.  If you have tickets to the Seahawks, Tim $2.
Banners:  The blank banners on the left represented a tabula rasa  - the New Year is a blank slate waiting for us to write the story.  I love this one, and not just because I guessed it!
Drawing: No winner.
