Happy Bucks.

Marlene, Julie and Rocky gave happy bucks for their trip to Honduras and shared some of their most memorable moments.  Bill was happy we don't have the type of weather coming down on other parts of the country.  George T. was happy the work at the border has been completed.  Gerry was happy for successful treatment for a (literal) pain in the neck.  Stan was happy for the glorious weather on Sunday and the friends that offered to take him and Margaret for a stunning scenic drive.  Pete R. shared a memory of Dick Metcalf ordering the hangers still used to hang our banners.  Tim V was sorry he missed the Honduras trip.  Ray was happy for his trip to Bend.  Marlene was happy board meeting minutes are now on the website.

Finemaster, Greg Thulin.

Fines were issued to the following people:

Paul, who was jokingly accused of stealing the bike he brought in for the auction.  Norm for responding to a request to "show us some of your dance moves!" by actually showing us some of his dance moves.

Gary for asking a silly question.  Gerry for getting "buff" on steroids (treatment for his neck).  Tyler and Paul because Haggen asks you to keep track of your own gift card balances.  B'ham residents for taxes wasted on city attorneys.  County residents because county judges need lessons in the law.  Anyone who's ever left a bag or briefcase somewhere (because it can be mistaken for a bomb).  Anyone who's boat isn't moored in the harbor.  Anyone who's not watching the Super Bowl ($1), anyone who's not attending a Super Bowl Party ($1),

or anyone attending Dan P's Super Bowl Party ($2).   All the BANNERS

today depicted mountains or mountain scenes, in honor of Stan's beautiful Sunday drive.

Program.

Norm led us in a club assembly regarding the March 11 Auction. "Luck of the Irish" is the theme (can't argue with that, I say).  Norm got 15-20 people to commit to ask specific restaurants for gift certificates.  He reminded us there will be a craft beer basket in addition to a wine basket this year.  There will be a trophy/prize for table sponsor whose table brings in the most $$ through auction purchases.  There was some "trash talk" among a few table sponsors; clearly this will be a tough competition.  We will raffle off an enormous flat screen TV on March 11 only.  Only a limited number of tickets (probably no more than 150) will be sold, for $20 each.  Also new this year: consignment travel packages, or those which we offer for a minimum bid. If bids exceed the minimum, we get the difference.

If they don't, we're not obligated to purchase the package.

Drawing.

Oops!  I left about 60 seconds before the ticket was drawn.
