MEETING TO ORDER: The social hour ended with an invocation by Gary Tomsic and President Ken called the meeting to order at 7pm after dinner was finished.

ACCOUNCEMENTS:
- There is no meeting on July 5. The next meeting is scheduled for July 12 with a Board meeting being held that morning.

- Tim Carpenter reminded everyone to take some flyers for the rummage sale.
HAPPY BUCKS: At the end of the evening, Shirley Metcalf opened a happy bucks segment by donating to the Metcalf fund and thanking everyone for their contributions to Dick's memory and for keeping his memory alive.
- Scott Wallace had happy bucks because new secretary Marlene was taking attendance
- Jim McKellar reported the concert last Saturday was awesome and witnessed some great moving and grooving by Mary Kanikeberg
- Bob Bowman was happy the club finally has a Democratic secretary
PROGRAM: In his final presidential address to the club, Ken provided a review of the past year. He started by thanking Larry Pollett, Jim Bliss, Scott Piper, Dick Donahue, Gary Cordrey, Tony Cubellis, Laurie Pobuta and Hillary Baumstarck for their service on this year's board.
In the service arena, the club started a $25,000 matching fund for
The club added $40,000 to the Metcalf fund this year.
Overall membership changes included 6 members dropping and 7 new members. There has also been a reduction in average age by 5 years, even with Mel. It was also noted that of 33 past presidents over half are still active in our club.
Ken expressed special thanks to his wife, Sue for her wonderful support over the three years of his office commitment.
Ken then introduced AssistantDistrict Governor Bob Morse and thanked him for his support this year. Bob gave a brief opening address including honoring Ken for his achievements. This was followed by a presentation of awards. Bob noted that none of our club members were present at the district meeting at which these awards were originally presented so Bob accepted them for us and hoped we can participate next time.
- Hollinger Traveling Peace Arch District Award: awarded to our club for the fastest cross border runaround, we received and returned the same day.
- Presidential Citation awarded to the club for work in the 2006-2007 year. The criteria are: membership stays even or grows; local or international service awards. Both were met under Ken's leadership (and previously under Scott Piper) so the pressure is now on Greg to "3-peat".
- Mel Hollinger was made a Charter Member of the District 5050 Paul Harris Society and was recognized for his contributions to the Rotary Foundation.
Welcome and Induction of Incoming Board of Directors. Bob discussed roles and duties (some were surprises) and extended congratulations to all.

Our new president, Greg Thulin, was formally inducted and introduced as the "Heart Beat of the Club". Greg offered a special thanks to his new team and got right down to business by asking for acceptance of the new by-laws.
After a brief discussion, Jerry Landcastle offered a motion to accept with Ken Richardson seconding. All members present approved and the meeting was ended.
