MEETING TO ORDER:
President Greg called the meeting to order at 12:35 and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Gary Tomsic gave the invocation asking safe travels for Rotarians not in attendance.

None this week but lets wish Pope Benedict XVI a happy birthday.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The District Assembly was Saturday April 12th. Two from our club attended, Greg Thulin and Marlene Sexton.

RYLA is coming up June 12th through 15th at a ranch in B.C. Great networking and learning opportunity for up and comers.

Bill Grace had roster updates. He pointed out that all the new members had photos of their spouses. Some of the more senior members have yet to supply a photo.

Brian Finnegan reminded us that the club auction is Friday, May 9th and that April 24th is the deadline for getting in auction items. All club members are encouraged to attend, bring guests and spend money. Thanks to Ray George for getting in some great auction items early. A summary sheet was passed around. Tickets for dinner are $50. We need your meal choice. Dress in your teen years. 6:30 start.

Dick Donahue plugged the upcoming Bay2Bay project and needs help in marketing and sponsorships. Dick Nolan volunteered for sponsorships and Gary Tomsic volunteered for marketing. There will be a committee meeting next Thursday at 11:00. Bob Bowman and Randy Carr will also help. Camp management for Silver Lake Scout Camp was needed and I think that Laurie Lloyd stepped up for that. The ride is scheduled for August 23rd and 24th. Sponsorships for $500 were promised from Adoline Brown and Max Legg. Sponsorships for $1,000 were promised from Jack Curnow and Jake Smith.
