MEETING TO ORDER: President Ken called the meeting to order at

1. Our Foundation Dinner will be November 16th, with social hour at
2. Bill Grace circulated a correction to the roster update from last week. Elizabeth Barnard's e-mail was wrong, so please be sure to get the corrected one.
3. Tim Carpenter reiterated, re-emphasized and reinforced everything President Ken said about the Foundation Dinner, to wit, "Please be there, it's important and fun!"

FINEMASTER: Phil Bratt was today's Finemaster. He fined Rose Abbaspour for missing her keys; Dick Langabeer for missing his badge; Ed Brown for not being happy enough about grandkids; Ken Richardson for getting more abuse about the Lummi Island Ferry; Jim Bliss for suffering through the World Series rain delay; Jake Smith, Tim Villhauer and Randy Carr for not recalling the Rotarian magazine cover; Everyone over 60 for getting a vaccine for shingles and Brian Finnegan for not being nice to cougars, and for being known the world over as a leaf blower.
BANNERS: This week's banners represented the home clubs of Past District Governors. Another good one, Stan!
PROGRAM: Paul Grabau and Peter Jewett of Farallon Consulting presented the latest rules for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, an important step in the due diligence process for anyone considering purchasing real estate.
