Letter from the President

Welcome to the web site of the Whatcom County North Rotary Club.  As we begin the 2006-2007 Rotary year, we do so with a great sense of pride for what we've accomplished the past few years, anticipation as we look forward to continuing our service to the community in which we live and the international community to which we are now so connected.  Our major project this year is the Dick Metcalf Memorial Teen Center planned for the Ferndale Boy's and Girl's Club.  We will also continue to support Micro Lending, Literacy and Clean Water projects in Central America.  All of this is in addition to our Vocational and Youth-oriented projects here in Whatcom County.  We will be holding our first annual auction/garage sale in Ferndale in August and hope that the community will support us with healthy donations and their attendance.
