The Rotary Club of South Whidbey Island was chartered in 1982 and consists of members from our local community who believe in Rotary's Motto: "Service Above Self." The club meets weekly on Tuesdays to enjoy fellowship and informative programs. The Rotary Club of South Whidbey Island is one of over 46,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. Members of these autonomous clubs are called Rotarians; they form a global network of over 1.4 million people from all walks of life who volunteer their time and talents to serve their communities and the world.


The Rotary Club of South Whidbey Island provides service to our local and world community in many ways, including assisting nonprofit organizations, supporting local projects, and contributing to the eradication of polio world-wide. The Club's contributions to these projects have been a combination of labor, planning, fundraising, and donations. Since 1982 the Club has donated over $1,370,000 to the local and international community, including over $390,000 in college scholarships, $354,000 in major projects, and $627,000 in community grants.


The Rotary Club of South Whidbey Island is a 501c(3) organization.  Our Rotary International Club ID Number is 190.
