The Farm School at South Whidbey Elementary School recently purchased a “Coolbot” kit with funding provided by Goosefoot.  The 8' x 10' refrigerated cooler allows organic vegetables and fruits grown by the school to be stored for long periods of time. The produce is used by WIN (Whidbey Island Nourishes) to furnish lunches and snacks for children on South Whidbey.  Volunteers from the Rotary Club of South Whidbey Island assembled the cooler, which was soon filled with healthy and delicious fruits and vegetables.
