The Rotary Club of South Whidbey was chartered in 1982 and consists of men and women from our local community who believe in Rotary's Motto: "Service Above Self." The club meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30 AM for breakfast in Freeland at the Whidbey Tel WiFire Club Room to enjoy fellowship and informative programs. The Rotary Club of South Whidbey is one of over 33,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. Members of these autonomous clubs are called Rotarians; they form a global network of over 1.2 million business and professional leaders, all volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities and the world.

The Rotary Club of South Whidbey provides service to both the local and world communities in many ways, from roadside cleanup and beautification to assisting with the eradication of polio world-wide. The Club's contribution to these projects has been a combination of labor, planning, fund-raising, and donation of money. Since 1982 the Club has donated over $1,300,000 to the local and international community, including over $348,000 in college scholarships, $354,000 in major projects, and $614,000 in community grants.

The Rotary Club of South Whidbey is a 501c(3) organization.  Our Rotary International Club ID Number is 190.
