Vocational Service

Vocational Service, has the purpose of promoting high ethical standards in businesses and professions, recognising the worthiness of all dignified occupations, and fostering the ideal of service in the pursuit of all vocations. The role of members includes conducting themselves and their businesses in accordance with Rotary’s principles.

Four Way Speech Contest
 
This contest offers students in year 10 the opportunity to compete in public speaking using themes based upon the Rotary Four Way Test.
 
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
 
The contest starts at Club level and concludes with the District and State Finals. Any year 10 student can enter the contest by applying through their local Rotary Club. A topic of choice but the speech must refer to the Four Way Test.

  • Members promotion opportunity - members given the opportunity to present information about themselves, and their career and/or special interests, at visit to their business premises, where appropriate.
