On Saturday, August 11, South Everett/Mukilteo Rotarians were involved in the Start Out Right program at Horizon Elementary. The program, designed to provide backpacks and school supplies for elementary age children, assists them in starting off the school year ready to learn. An annual event, SEMR is proud to sponsor and volunteer at the school. One of the fourth grade girls walked up to the table to pick out her backpack and she said "Wow, this is a dream come true. Thank you!"
