Djidi Djidi Primary School

Unfortunately, the Djidi Djidi Primary Schools' Library (Glen Iris) was severely damaged by fire last Wednesday.  Via a FB friend, Robyn noticed late on Monday night a plea for unwanted & pre-loved books.   She did not hesitate in arranging to deliver the school library books previously sourced from Amaroo PS when upgrading their library.  With the help of Geoff Blackford, Robyn's car was loaded and the books were delivered to the South Western Times -coordinators, as the school does not have the capacity to store them.

100's of books - fiction and non-fiction - ready for a road trip to a new school -Djidi Djidi Primary School.

Although plenty of worthy recipients have been identified for receiving the school books, the logistics and expenses associated with shipping overseas has proven to be a hurdle we couldn't jump.  It is a relief to finally find a worthy new home for the school books.
