LIKE TO JOIN ROTARY BUT THE COST IS PUTTING YOU OFF?
In these difficult economic times, Busselton Geographe Bay Rotary is trying hard to keep the cost of membership down.
For the 2022/2023 year, we're giving new members a 50% discount on their annual dues - a saving of $125.
And most meals at the Esplanade Hotel where we meet are now $3 cheaper, as we've reduced the meal surcharge that we apply to cover the cost of guest speakers.
We meet weekly on a Wednesday evening but attendance rules are now greatly relaxed and members only need to attend when they can. And at least one Wednesday each month involves us in a social night or a vocational visit or something a bit different. Last month, for example, we had a dinner at the Thai Lemongrass restaurant in Busselton and the next week cancelled our Wednesday meeting and raised funds for mental health with a movie premiere at Orana on a Thursday night.
