Our Guest Speaker this morning was Sarah Hatley. After moving to Iowa about 1 1/2 years ago from Indiana, Sarah wanted to get involved in a community project and about that time she read an article about Operation Christmas and how it was their last year. She was excited to check it out and hopefully continue on this project in some capacity. She worked at Community Christmas everyday and loved it. While volunteering she knew that she needed to continue on this tradition so she contacted Charles Clayton who offered his space at AFES for her to give the children in Webster County a Christmas. Thanks for sharing your story this morning Sarah and thanks for looking out for so many in our community that wouldn't have anything under the tree this year.
