Ushering in a New Rotary YearOur club marked the end of a most unusual Rotary year while looking ahead to a new Rotary year of fundraisers and community service projects. Jim Cotturone will remain as club President while the following Rotarians were presented citations for their outstanding club contributions: Distinguished Service Citation: Dr. Tom McKeever (For years of club service as board member) and Jerry Peiffer (For his Indispensable selfless service to the club and community) President’s Citation: Mark Blodgett (Spearheaded “Drive-thru Beer Garden” Fundraiser), Rachael Gabrhel & Dustin Lehman (Superior contributions as Emerging Leaders) |
Changing of the GuardThe Rotary Club of Mukwonago held its annual Changing of the Guard ceremony on June 21st as new club president John Beauchamp took over the reigns from Dr. Einar Svang and introduced his board. The club offered a big thank you to Einar for his outstanding year of club leadership and looks forward to another year of service to the Mukwonago community & world with John at the helm.

SIMPLE HOPE Pack a ThonFor the 5th consecutive year, Mukwonago High School will host a SIMPLE HOPE Pack a Thon on Feb 20th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 AM. Along with other organizations, the Mukwonago Rotary club is sponsoring this year's event. Participants commit to a one hour time block that morning and provide a $25 donation ($15 students) to pay for the food/supplies that are then transported to Tanzania for distribution to those in need. Shelterbox Box: Disaster ReliefThe Mukwonago Rotary Club is proud to have been able to provide financial assistance in support of the Shelterbox program, most recently in support of Philippine Typhoon relief.
