XMAS WITH DIGNITY 2023   Christmas with Dignity was designed as a social enterprise and community development project that places deeply discounted prices on brand-named toys, clothing, and books, making purchases affordable for lower-income families. Partnering with Julia Means and the Blanket of Love Program, families were able to purchase clothing, gifts, and toys for their children for just pennies on the dollar. They were also sent home with wrapping paper and bows at no cost to make each gift a complete surprise and experience the jubilant sounds of glee which makes Christmas morning a joy for any parent. |
Annual Dinner & Changing of the Guard  The Annual Dinner for Milwaukee North Sunrise Rotary was held on June 20, 2023. The transition of the president took place from Ruby Dent to Gregory Williams, and two new members were inducted Demetrius and Roxy as seen in the photograph. |
My Personal Experience of Doing Community ServiceMembership Service: The Milwaukee North Sunrise Rotary Club is a membership organization that provides the best service to communities. Martin Luther King Jr. said it best: ‘Everybody can be great … because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.’

The collection of warm clothing for veterans on Saturday, October 5th at the Fox Point Farmers Market was a great success. We literally stuffed many coats, jackets, scarves and boots into the van! |
