How do I prepare to ride the Rotary Ride?
Participants: As a rider, we recommend eating and sleeping well and hydrating (with water ;o) each day leading up to any activity. Consult with your primary care physician if you have any medical concerns.
Equipment:  Have your bike tuned up and road-ready before checking in.
Bring on the ride with you:  A water bottle or two, a flat-pack (including tire levers, tube, patches, and an inflater/pump), a mask, sunscreen, energy bars, or gels (one for each hour you plan to ride), and any medication you may need.

Routes:  Detail below and printed maps will be provided with your rider packet (check-in or late-registration packets). Take a look over the printed map so you are familiar with the route you signed up for. Our routes are created using the RideWithGPS software. Though we recommend using RideWithGPS, the downloads are compatible with some Garmin and Strava versions but your credentials and permissions for those apps will be required.

Who can register to ride?
  • Registrants must be able to present a valid photo ID at the check-in or late registration table.
  • All riding abilities are welcome! Check out the Route Options below for descriptions, milage, and hills... higher climbing feet = hilly terrain, etc.
  • Children 5 and under ride free when accompanied by an adult. There is no online registration for those 5 and under, but your child will check in with you during the Fri or Sat Check-in times. You will need to complete the waiver for her too. We recommend downloading and completing the waiver and photo consent form beforehand.  If you don't, extra waivers are available at the Waiver Table.  Fill one out for yourself and one for each child.  And don't forget your ID...

What’s included with my registration fee?
The In-Person Rotary Ride is a fully supported ride presented by the Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club. It includes wonderful sponsors, well-planned bicycle-friendly routes, digital & paper maps, moisture-wicking ride shirt, goody bag, rest stops, support on the road, crisis dispatch # (always call 911 for an emergency), and the after-party including food, music, and beverages at beautiful Cedar Creek Park.
  >>>  Scroll down to read the virtual ride's detailed information. It has its own section below.

Are goody bags given out?
The first 300 registered participants will receive a goody bag when they check-in. (Qty reduced to 300 on 5/3)

What are the sizes for the moisture-wicking ride shirt included with my registration?
What if it rains (or snows)? Can I get a refund?
The Rotary Ride will take place, rain or shine. If conditions are so poor your safety is at risk, it will be postponed to start later that morning or changed to an all-virtual event (riding when and where you're able). No refunds will be given since it is a fundraiser. Goody bags and merchandise would be available for pick up during regular Check-In times.

Ride the distance you pick wherever you want and if you ordered the ride shirt we’ll ship it to you.

What is the Rotary Ride's Virtual Ride? As with the in-person ride, the Rotary Ride is a fundraiser and we heard from you, our participants (or those who want to be participants) asking for a Virtual option on the Rotary Ride.
