Alzheimers and Dementia - What Are We Learning and How Can We Proactively Become Dementia Friendly Communities
Learn more about the partnership between Rotary International and Alzheimer's Association. In addition we will better understand how to become Dementia Friendly Communities and what our club and members, friends, and businesses can do, along with updates on the latest research - meds, discoveries of who gets Alzheimers, etc., Find out more on how you can be actively engaged through the Alzheimer’s / Dementia Rotary Action Group (ADRAG) and on Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust (CART).
Our speaker panel includes;
Sue Kelly - Chairperson of the Shorewood Dementia Awareness Work Group, and professionally a Non-Profit Planning Consultant.
Diane Milner - Alzheimer's Association. Serving the state of Wisconsin, the Alzheimer's Association provides reliable information and care consultations; supportive services for families; educational opportunities; funding for dementia research; and advocacy efforts for public policy changes across the state.
