At our meeting this week we were delighted to be able to hand over a tub of Lego® Bricks to the students at Wirrabirra Primary School in Gosnells.  Deputy, Dianne Filmer and Rivkah Burch, their school Chaplain are pictured here with our club President, Jodie, as they received their tub to take back to the school.
One of the many wonderful outcomes of our annual Bricktober event, is that some of the profits are used to purchase Lego® which we then donate to schools and community groups who have Lego Play Groups.  It is always such a great honour to be able to give these tubs to those who can use them.  From what Di and Riv said during our meeting, these bricks will be used . . . a lot.

Riv plans to use them during her support sessions with the students - sometimes they will have time to have 'free play' and at other times she plans to give them challenges to see what they can create.  When she told the students that she was collected more bricks for them they were delighted, and are looking forward to creating a display for Bricktober this year.

If your school, or community group could use some Lego® check out our Bricktober website and complete the application, return it to us and we will see how far our current funds will stretch.
