Directors provided club members with information about their goals for 2016-17
Dotted in amongst the club photo shown above are the following Directors who provided us with an overview of their plans for the current Rotary year:
Peter Richardson - Club Services - wants to ensure we have some fun events and to meet with Rotarians from other clubs
Stephen Kendall - Community Services - wants our Bricktober event to be even bigger and better than ever to ensure we can support 10 - 12 new Lego Play groups
Aidan Wood - Youth Services - wants to continue to grow the work we are doing with youth; and to support all the youth activities run through Rotary
Garry Jacobs - Vocational Services - wants to ensure we have a vibrant speaker program focusing on the vocational aspects, ensure Pride of Workmanship program is up and running and for us to have some vocational visits
Ron Alexander - International Services - in his absence President Mike indicated that more work can still be done in Timor L'Este; continuing to support Sustainable Cambodia; funding an Interplast Team and supporting the Vocational Exchange program run through District
Michael Evans - Membership - aims to increase membership by between 5 and 8 people this year; and to host a social event
Rob Francis - Foundation - wants the club to continue to support the Rotary Foundation as fully as possible; and to consider a possible local project that will enable us to tap into the Global Grants funding.
Great work everyone. Looks like we are in for one heck of a year. Watch this space.
