Wow, wow and wow.  That is what I heard most of this past weekend at Bricktober - Perth.

An amazing crew of people pulled off an incredible feat once again.  The exhibitions were fantastic, and the volunteers worked really hard to make the event great for everyone.

Many months of hard work from the members of the Ascot Rotary Club, under the leadership of Adult Lego fans, Stephen and Joanna Kendall; culminated in a fabulous weekend of viewing and playing with all things Lego.  Food and drink stands were on hand to make sure people could sustain their energies well into the day so they could have a second and third look at the many features within each of the exhibits that were spread out across 2 halls at the Canning Exhibition Centre and Showgrounds in Cannington.  Sellers of Lego and memorabilia were kept busy as people, young and old, vied with each other to get the item or set that they needed.  I heard of one young prize winner who stayed up until just on midnight because she wanted to build what she had won.  She did it too.

On behalf of the Ascot Rotary Club - thank you, thank you, and thank you once again for the amazing effort put in by all who were involved in any way with Bricktober 2016.  You are awesome.
