This morning we donated 2 tubs of Lego to Dayton Primary School, although the students will have to wait until the end of the school holidays to before they can play with them.  Taryn, a teacher at Dayton accepted the Lego on behalf of the school.
Interestingly, when teachers were interviewed for a position at this new school in the northern suburbs, they were presented with some Lego to use to represent their ideas, beliefs and passions, so it is no wonder the school wanted to have some for their students to use too.

Taryn is a Science and Technology teacher at the school and is keen to get the Lego Club started; and to use the Lego to help students develop their early stage engineering skills as part of her teaching and learning programme.

We look forward to seeing pictures showing the children at work using the Lego we have donated to them.

If you know of any school or community group who could use some Lego for a Lego Play Group or Club; please check out our application on the left hand side of our website; have them complete the form and get it back to us so we can help them out if we can.

Our Lego is provided as a result of our weekend event called Bricktober.  It is an annual event held during the last weekend of the October school holidays.  Come along and see for yourself some amazing creations put together by adult and junior builders alike.  Book on line, start your day when you want to and stay for as long as you like once you are there.
