Interact Club Meeting

Ascot's President, Pete, and Interact's President, Brittney, presided over the meeting this morning.  Other students from the Interact Club told us of some of the events that they are planning for the year to raise funds for their projects.  These include a Sleep Out at Ursula Frayne on Friday 7th August to raise awareness of the effects of homelessness.  Then on September 1 they plan to have a breakfast fundraiser at the school.  On Sunday 1st November they are going to be involved in the Colour Run at Langley Park. 

 

President Peter handed over a cheque to the club to assist them in their fundraising.  As well as that the two sergeants had a field day fining everyone they could; including urging Ascot Rotarians to donate enough funds so that students could be sponsored for the Sleep Out.  Anyone who wasn't caught and would like to sponsor a 'sleeper' please contact either President Pete, or Aidan.
