Congratulations to Rotarian Mike Bermann, from Rotary Club of Ascot for seeing another successful project through to fruition for a Hydrotherapy Patient Lifter for Pool in Pinjarra
Mike Bermann together with Michael and Robyn Metcalf, Peter Richardson, along with two members from the Pinjarra Rotary Club, travelled down to the Pinjarra Aquatic Pool Centre to launch the equipment which was purchased in conjunction with funds donated from the Rotary Club of Pinjarra.
The staff and management of the centre were over the moon together including Mike Bermann’s friend Wayne Chambers, who suffers Guillain Barre` Syndrome (GBS) and requires this equipment to enable him access in and out of the hydrotherapy pool.
The Centre Manager, Ben Porter, said this would be utilised by many people who usually couldn’t visit the pool because lack of such equipment. This patient lifter will make a big change for many.
