At our last meeting for this year we were privileged to be able to pass on to the Vic Park Youth Accommodation Centre some hamper items so they can provide some Christmas cheer to the people who are staying there. Charlie Brown was delighted with what our members and friends generously donated. 
Charlie is seen here with club member, Michelle, who was the driving force behind the collection of Christmas goodies; and club President Dianne. There were many more bags of goodies but we just selected a couple to put on the table for the photo. During the meeting Charlie spoke of the need for ongoing accommodation for many people who for one reason or another are currently not able to access more permanent lodgings.
He said that they have more and more children staying at their centre as the profile of the people seeking urgent accommodation changes. Charlie also thanked the club members involved in helping them do a 'clean up' of their store room earlier in the year; and for the donation of handbags filled with personal items for the women who they support.
