We only have one more sleep to go until our Virtual Bricktober event commences.
Stephen is seen here posing with one of the winners from the Shoe Box "My Own Creation" competition that was held prior to the commencement of our virtual Bricktober event.  The event will be live throughout the whole month of October (instead of the usual 2 days).  Anyone at any time can log on to the www.bricktober.show website and see what is available for viewing.  Different items will be posted each day so you can come back as many times as you like and see different things.  Stephen said that "We wanted to make it as interactive as possible".  People also have an opportunity to ask Mr Brick questions and he will be posting responses to those questions throughout the month.

Stephen has indicated that we will start the month with some photos of some of our previous shows to give you an idea of how we started; and build up to the release of each of this year's build on the 10th October - which is when we normally run our Bricktober event.  Several of the current year's builds will be released daily so you are not overwhelmed with what is available.  There are 40 exhibits, so there is plenty to see.

You can also see the winners of the Shoe Box MOC categories explain their creations; as well as the Future Exhibitors with their creations as well.  We will have our special edition Tshirts available for sale if you want to purchase one.  Towards the end of the month there will also be an opportunity for people to vote on which of the exhibits is their favourite - this option will be available once all the exhibits have been released.

At our meeting on Tuesday Stephen showed us a preview of what the website will look like.  There has been a lot of work done to make it easy to move around.  A big thank you needs to go to Stephen and his helpers who have been working hard to make sure it will be up and running from tomorrow.

Please spread the word; we want to make this event go global this year.  Remember www.bricktober.show is the link you need to get you to e-Bricktober for 2020.
