At our Christmas meeting, just prior to the big day, we had some fun, we shared some gifts, we said a big thank you to The Dome staff, we donated some funds and we were acknowledged for our efforts by Rotary International.
It was a jam packed meeting with lots of fun and laughter as we played games, opened presents that our Secret Santa had given us; and we made sure we found time to give donations to each of the following groups who we wanted to support this year: Care Bags; Little Things for Tiny Tots and Dolly's Shower Truck.
We also were acknowledged by our District Governor, Veronica, for our efforts in contributing towards The Rotary Foundation - Number 2 in the District; A Level 3 Club Donor Award; as well as acknowledging our contributions towards Ending Polio worldwide.
A number of guests, including one from Canada, had a very enjoyable morning with us; and everyone left bearing gifts.
Come and join us at our first meeting in January, 13th, at The Dome, Belmont. We start at 7.30 am and are finished by 8.30 am - just in time to head off to work. We'd love to see you.
