Changing lives through mobility

Our past member Jodie Sparks came along this morning to tell us about her job at Wheels for Hope, a unique Western Australian charity helping WA families with disabilities.

Wheels for Hope is a program of the Western Australian Motor Industry Foundation Inc, which helps families with disabilities by providing them with a fully equipped wheelchair-friendly vehicle so that they may access critical medical and remedial care, education and community activities. Vehicles are loaned to eligible families for 12 month periods and the Foundation insure, license, service and maintain the vehicles.
