What a weekend that was - Bricktober 2026
We love being involved in Bricktober. It is an opportunity for Lego builders to come together to showcase the amazing work they have done during the year. I took some pictures over the weekend, and picked this one as the photo for this story.
A big thank you to Jodie and the committee for all the planning that went into bringing Bricktober to the community. Also a big thank you to the exhibitors who spent many hours creating the amazing builds that were on display; and also another really big thank you to the many volunteers and support people who came over the weekend to ensure that things went as smoothly as it did.
Almost 9,000 people came through the doors with lots of first timers who had no idea what to expect. The feedback from people as they left was very positive. We love how we've connected with other Rotary clubs who have worked with us to make this the amazing event that it is.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and made it such a success. We look forward to what 2027 will bring.
