Bricktober Weekend

Amazing, fantastic, well done, we'll be there next year - are all comments made by people who came to Bricktober this year. Spread over 2 days, Bricktober saw more than 6,000 people come through the doors to view the amazing lego displays and engage in the activities in the Interactive Zone.

Lots of photos were taken and I'm sure they will appear on the Bricktober website when Stephen gets a chance to put them up.

Over one million lego bricks were used in the displays in the main hall; and many more were used in the activities and models found in the Interactive Zone. A troupe of volunteers ensured that everything ran as smoothly as it did; and a number of invited guests - including Queen Elsa and Princess Anya from Frozen were there on Saturday along with Captain America and Batman; and then on Sunday Star Wars fans were delighted to see some of the Star Wars characters including The Storm troopers, Darth Vader and R4-D5 to name just a few. Two of the storm troopers loved our Volunteers Teeshirts so much they decided to join in.
