What a weekend we have just had.  Our 10th annual Bricktober has just been completed and we have had some really positive feedback about the event.
There were over 50 adult exhibitors at the event and 46 junior exhibitors who displayed their amazing creations.  The junior exhibitors displayed for one day each.  This is the photo I took of Day 2's group.

Bricktober is an annual event of Ascot Rotary, and this year we celebrated 10 years of running it.  Each time I am amazed at the creativity of the builders who spend countless hours creating and building what they show the general public who come to have a look.

On behalf of Ascot Rotary I would like to thank each and every one of them for the incredible effort they put in to making their unique displays.

Profits from the event go to our 3 major areas :  to support our Lego Play Tubs programme where we donate tubs of Lego to school and community groups who want to set up their own Lego Play Group;  to The Rotary Foundation to assist in the eradication of polio around the world and to our local community projects that provide assistance locally as well as to some of our near neighbours to help them too.

I would also like to thank the members of our club who worked really hard to plan, prepare and run the event, as well as all others who helped by volunteering over the weekend.  Check out our Bulletin (attached to the front page of our website) for some of the photos taken during the weekend.
