Club President, Dianne, is seen accepting the Community Spirit Award from Andrew Clark of PerthNow (sponsor of the award) at the Belmont BEC's Annual Awards Night last night.
Dianne said she was delighted to win this award on behalf of the club who have worked together for a number of years to make Bricktober such a successful event. Ascot Rotary runs Bricktober - an annual Lego Event that has been running since 2014. Funds from the event go towards a number of community programmes, including our Lego Play Tubs (which are donated to local Lego Play Groups; supporting the eradication of polio globally; finding ways to support local community groups and also helping to provide clean water to villages in East Timor.

If joining us isn't for you then consider volunteering at Bricktober next year - it is usually run during the last weekend of the October school holidays. We are always looking for a helping hand at the event.
