This morning we welcomed Eden, the Chaplain at Alkimos Beach Primary School, to our meeting.  She was with us to receive a donation of Lego bricks from our Playtubs programme.
Profits from Bricktober, our annual Lego event run during the last weekend of the October school holidays, are spent three ways - on Ending Polio; on community projects and on purchasing Lego so we can donate it to school and community groups that want to set up and run a Lego Club.

We are delighted to be able to provide some Lego to the Alkimos Beach Primary School from the profits of Bricktober.  Eden tells us that the children will be overjoyed at the amount of Lego that will be available to the students in her care.  We know she will have fun playing with the students as they develop their creativity and thinking skills.

If you want to know more about Bricktober - head over to our website to have a look, or book in for a play day with family and friends.  You nominate a start time to your day, but can stay as long as you like once you are there.
