We would like to recognize the continued support of community partners who help us support the North Langley Starfish program. This is a program that the Langley School Foundation coordinates, helping those kids who are in need of food over the weekend. During these trying times school aged children who do not have food security at home are given gift certificates to a grocery store in their neighbourhood to ensure they have the nutrition they need, making sure they come to school on Monday ready to learn.
We would like to thank the local branch of Innovative Fitness in Walnut Grove for their continued support year over year. This year they raised $7500.00 in their "Train a Trainer" event for the cause.
Thank you for Caring Society raised funds for Starfish at their annual holiday tea event in Langley, and generously donated $4000.00 to the program.
