Lory Newmeyer: Lory Newmyer is the Executive Director of the Hull Lifesaving Museum. She has been with the museum since 1987, working as the Museum Educator and co-Director of HLM’s Maritime Program before becoming the organization’s first Executive Director in 1996. She serves on several non-profit Boards and as a peer leader in the fields of youth social service, experiential education, and organizational development. She holds a B.A. from Hamilton College in History and Women’s Studies, and has certifications in Creative Problem Solving, Psychological First Aid, and Narrative Redemptive Writing. She is a Trauma First Responder, as well as an artist and competitive open-water rower. Lory was named a PIC Achiever in 2008, and was delighted to represent the Hull Lifesaving Museum as a Social Innovator for Root Cause in 2009.
