On Friday morning, June 27th, 32 students representing 17 countries will arrive in Saint Paul with their chaperones for a 48 hour stay. They will depart on Sunday, June 29th at 8:00 a.m. These students will have just completed one year as a Rotary exchange student in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah or Hawaii. Before returning to their home countries they are taking a 30 day “round the country” train trip (kind of like our East Coast bus trip.)

The District is looking for families to each host 2 or more students for this 48 hour period -- to give them sleeping accommodations, meals and to show them what summer in Minnesota is like. They will have to be picked up and dropped back off in Saint Paul.  HOSTS DO NOT HAVE TO BE ROTARIANS. Host family members 18 years or older must go through an online youth protection training class and agree to a criminal background check.

Please contact Sherry Howe in the Saint Paul Rotary office for more information or to volunteer. (Phone: 651 222-2028 or email: sherry@stpaulrotary.org.)
