Passing the Gavel

This year as president has really gone fast. There was so much more that I wanted to do and just never got the time to do it all. It was a lot of work, but definitely worth it. Being president this past year has helped me learn more about Rotary than I ever would have otherwise.
You can join Rotary to be part of the organization. But at some point along the line you go from just being a member of the group to being a true Rotarian. And once you do that, it is a part of you. Being president and needing to be involved with everything and really seeing how much good our club does in the world and what Rotary does to make a difference every day really made me a life-long Rotarian.
I am honored to have had the privilege to have served as your president this past year. And I look forward to this coming year under Randy’s leadership as I pass the gavel onto him. Congratulations Randy!
