The Tree of Joy Project 2021
This year we had the 2 sites – Pennant Hills and Thornleigh Marketplaces. We placed just on 500 cards on the 2 trees and the gifts have been flooding in. Pat Parker collected them from Pennant Hills and David Firth from Thornleigh. We are thankful for the Banna Group Security people for collecting & storing at Pennant Hills. At Thornleigh, AWS Hair Salon collected and stored the gifts.
Monday Pat and Jason Terry delivered about 60 gifts to Stewart House. On Thursday morning we delivered the rest of the gifts to Parramatta Mission. There were so many that we needed a box trailer to load them into so that we could deliver them in one load. Both Stewart House and Parramatta Mission were extremely grateful for the gifts, with the mission having been very busy coping with the increased call on their help during the pandemic.
