In response to the floods in central western NSW, Pam Hudson, one of our members, initiated an appeal for non-perishable food, toiletries, and similar items. Clubs in our area joined in and the donations flooded in. Another collection place was set up in the Lower Blue Mountains with a similar result. What started as a short 2 week appeal ended up running for twice as long and several trips were made out to Cowra and Eugowra where the towns had been devastated. Rotarians and family members were also involved in assisting out in the flood areas. The photo shows some preliminary sorting of goods before the major delivery to Eugowra - 2 large utes and a large SUV.
