As Rotary Clubs around the world have and are doing, we changed over our leadership and board on Thursday 30th June. Outgoing President Kaye Carter presented her report by way of a Powerpoint presentation. Then, assisted by Assistant Governor Stuart Armstrong, handed over the Club Charter and the chains of office. This new Rotary year, we have joint presidents, David Firth and Phillip Stanton. Unfortunately Phillip was away on a well earned holiday, so David accepted the charter and chains on behalf of both presidents.
David then presented the usual Past president badge and plaque to Kaye before presenting her with a Paul Harris Fellow Award in recognition of her service to our club and to the wider parts of Rotary.
David then outlined the major objectives for our club in the new year, and introduced the new board of directors.
All in all, a most enjoyable evening at the Pennant Hills Golf Club.
