- The club welcomed Tim Madigan as our guest speaker. Tim is a former club member and our former City Administrator
- We also welcomed Charlie Cogan from the Northfield club. Charlie announced his son completed his thesis at Carleton College recently
Murray Hanson led the fellowship, which included trivia. Murray and the club are raising money for the foundation with the intention of giving away a Paul Harris Fellow to one of our members!
- Mark Kenney spoke about figuring out things for his upcoming presidency
- Rod Mahler was happy to be back from a recent heart attack and let everyone know he has 8 stints in place that are keeping him going!
- Dr Bob wanted everyone to know they should keep Aspirin in their house in case they need it
- Dr. Huston advised that 2024 was not a good year for POLIO. Several news cases sprung up around the world and a few vaccinators were killed. A large amount of the instances occurred in Afghanistan.
- Greg Ciesluk let everyone know his wife Rebecca (former Rotarian) took a new job with RISE Modular in Owatonna. Greg also let us know the last official STRIVE session was today! Our STRIVE students will be joining us next week at our Rotary meeting.
- Kurt Halvorson told everyone his antique ambulance has completed his rehab and he will soon have it back. Kurt announced he will soon be offering heavily discounted, unlicensed medical transportation to those in need!
- George Wickstrom complained about the Pledge of Allegiance.
