This year’s Visual & Performing Arts Award process reflected both the growth of our programs and the depth of student commitment across visual arts, choir, band, orchestra, and theatre. We received a larger and more competitive pool of applicants than in previous years—particularly in visual arts and orchestra—with students demonstrating a wide range of experiences, from emerging performers building confidence to highly dedicated students pursuing advanced opportunities. Many applicants shared thoughtful, personal reflections on how the arts have shaped their identity, resilience, and sense of belonging, as well as clear plans for how they would use the award to continue developing their skills. |
