Viaduct Park- Last Thursday, May 21, Faribault city officials in conjunction with Faribault Parks and Recreation and the Faribault Rotary club with its $100,000 sponsorship officially opened the floodgates on the new Viaduct Park splash pad. With the completion of the splash pad comes the end of the $6 million Phase 1 of the Viaduct Park complex.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony saw a collection of former and current city officials, benefactors, Rotarians and community members come out for the celebration. The event featured a bounce house, live music provided by Eclipse (Kathy and Martha) and free lemonade for the first 100 patrons provided by The Oasis.
