STRIVE Awards Banquet
Mark Kenney welcomed the group and read an invocation. “The greatest value in education is the growth we experience.” Mark had everyone take a photo of the meeting today so we can remember this day.
Greg Ciesluk, STRIVE leader for the last couple of years, lead the award banquet. STRIVE has been running for about 25 years. Today we awarded $24,000 to students.

STRIVE speakers- Dr. Martha Brown, Greg Ciesluk, Mark Kenney, Becky Ford, George Wickstrom, Franz Bolter and Chuck Ackmann
This year there were 7 sessions. Students were asked to attend 4 of the 7.
Each student who completed the program received $250.
Rotary Value Scholarships were awarded for essay writing. 13 students were awarded scholarships.
Shae Battles read her essay on Service above Self.
Finally, Most Improved GPA Scholarships were awarded to 3 students- Nelson Landreau, Brynn Beardsley and Aubrie Newport.
