City Administrator Tim Murray

 Tim Murray talks about the new proposed City Park along the Straight River by the Viaduct.
 
  • Park Committee originally came up with a 7-step plan
    • 5 of the 7 steps are complete
  • Only final design and construction remain
  • Features of the new Park
    • Skate ribbon
      • Only the 2nd ribbon in the state!
      • Will allow ice to be open November through February
  • Splash pad
    • This idea has been something recommended for some time
    • Excited to bring this to the area
  • Large Building
    • Indoor/Outdoor area
    • Can be rented for events
    • Will include skate rental area
    • Will house equipment for the rink
  • Lighting of the Viaduct
    • Will be able to change color scenes depending on seasons
