- Tim was here today representing the Elder Collegium
- Tim explained his background of serving as the City Administrator for the City of Faribault (19 years) and Northfield (4 years)
- Tim explained further the Elder Collegium is an opportunity for older adults who want to keep learning
- There are no grades given out it’s just for older people who want to keep learning
- There are 3 terms in the collegium and you can register online or by paper if you prefer
- Tim walked us through the website cvec.org where you can learn more about the program
- Our very own Dr. Bob Speckhals spoke to the club about his experience with the collegium. Bob has taken over 70 courses through the collegium. Bob told everyone he enjoys taking the classes because he learns a variety of things.
- Rod also spoke to the club about attending the collegium courses.
- Tim has always had a strong interest in history and is currently teaching some classes on the 1960’s
