Kathy Sullivan- Eagan Rotary 
⁃Kathy is a member of Ellie’s church and recently got involved in Rotary and she loves it! ⁃
Kathy will be the president of the Eagan club next year ⁃
Kathy’s husband Jim, who passed away a year and a half ago, got her involved in helping the people of Ghana ⁃
Kathy was a reluctant participant at 1st but she became much more involved ⁃
Kathy and her husband started Operation Dignity⁃
Ghana facts ⁃
1 Doctor for every 35k people in Ghana ⁃
95%farmland ⁃
99% do not have access to clean water ⁃
Most of the population are farmers (1-2) acres per person ⁃
Many residents live on less than $1 per day⁃
Kathy went to Ghana for 4 years with a medical team and shared several stories with us ⁃
Kathy spoke about providing emergency surgery for kids, addressing dental hygiene issues with toothbrushes ⁃
Helping farmers grow larger yields ⁃
They gave out 15k polio vaccines ⁃
Kathy applied for a Rotary district grant and is close to her goal of raising 10k
