Kurt Halverson talked about how he participated in DECA when he was in high school. He now serves as a judge for the DECA competitions.
Lisa Humfeld-Wilson – shared information about the Ruth’s House fundraiser gala that is coming up. They would love to have participation from Rotarians!
Becky Ford – shared about a collaborative event happening next Wednesday (1/14) at Viaduct Park. This will be organized by the city of Faribault and the Faribault Community Action Center. 3 topics will be discussed – housing, employment and environment. Opportunity to talk about our community and solutions – the event is at 6pm at Viaduct Park.
Dr. Dick Huston – Sertoma has closed in Faribault which he finds disappointing. Also shared that he was at the Barn (William’s Arena at the U of M) last night to see the Gophers men’s basketball team win against #19 Iowa!
Greg Ciesluk – celebrated his 60th birthday this past weekend and appreciates how blessed he is. He is thankful for those great influential people in his life. Also commended the presenters today and how they made Faribault Rotary proud.
Brandon Gliem – thanked our presenters for a good job presenting today and suggested Rotarians refer others to attend Camp Enterprise in the future. Also shared that the FPD is at full staff for the first time since 2022.
George Wickstrom – talked about our government and current lifestyles and their sustainability. All of us need to fix something and be aware of this.
